Adding Defined Names

I am using the OpenXML sdk to create an excel file. The workbook contains two sheets, Sheet1 and Sheet 2, Sheet2 has columns of data. For each of those, I'd like to create a "definedName". I have not found any good examples to do this through vb or c# can anyone help?
