I'm trying to embed rich text inside of rich text content control in Word.
Running code from SharePoint web part, I can successfully embed text and images from SharePoint lists into the target Word doc. BUT, if the source text has formatting markup, this markup is not rendered in the target doc. Rather, the markup is included as literal text.
I've used the productivity tool and no how to generate the C# code which can generate the target content. However, since the source content is dynamic, I cannot rely on pre-generated C# code. IF codegen is the answer, I need for it to be built dynamically off of the source rich text. Anyway to call into exposed methods in the Productivity Tool dll?
Is there a better way?
Thanks,
Eric
Eric, try using AltChunk that protects formatting.
yup!! AltChunk can be used, try it.
