Hi Pranay, You can create a custom layout by clicking 'Insert Layout' You can click on the newly created layout, and can create a new placeholder by clicking 'Insert Placeholder'Once you add a new placeholder, the 'Name' property is by default added and it falls in NonVisualProperties. So you can actually fill-in 'Title' property using 'Format Shape' -> 'Alt text'
Hope this helps.
Hi Pramod,
Thanks for nice step explenation.
But seems we are using different version of office. On my machine there is no section of "Alt Text" in "Format shape" contaxt menu.
I am using office 2007. Which one u r using.

Hi Pranay,
I am using office 2010. If you are using office 2007 then perhaps the following links would help you.
support.microsoft.com/.../923919
office.microsoft.com/.../add-alternative-text-to-a-shape-picture-chart-smartart-graphic-or-other-object-HA010177841.aspx
As I have gone through the links given by you. It's explaning all about adding "Alt Text". But this "Alt Text" is somthing which appears when mouse move over to the objects (shape etc.).
I think this is not what I was looking for (setting a title for a place holder in office 2007).
