It was only about three weeks since I released PresentationBuilder 2.4.0, and it is already time for a new release. There was an annoying problem with PresentationBuilder - if two slides referred to the same image, the image was duplicated in the generated presentation. This was particularly problematic if you have a corporate logo that is placed on each slide - this issue could cause the physical size of the presentation to grow unnecessarily. This issue is now fixed.
For those who haven't been introduced to PresentationBuilder, it is a module in PowerTools for Open XML that enables you to take pieces and parts of any number of PowerPoint presentations, and assemble a new valid presentation out of them. If you are not familiar with PresentationBuilder, see the various screen-casts at the PresentationBuilder Resource Center on this site.
In addition to this one important enhancement, PresentationBuilder 2.5.0 contains the various improvements made to 2.4.0. The enhancements are for robustness; I haven't changed the functionality or API at all. You can download it from the Downloads tab at powertools.codeplex.com.
PresentationBuilder now supports:
This version requires the Open XML SDK 2.5 and the .NET Framework 4.0.
