DAISY Consortium's Collaboration with Microsoft Corporation Yields New Tools for Production and Playback of Accessible Multimedia

The DAISY consortium and Microsoft, along with Australasian company Intergen have released version 2 of the Save as DAISY add in for MS Word.

The free, open source add-in enables visually impaired and blind people to 'listen to' Word documents, making billions of documents accessible to people with print disabilities.
